About GeoCake

Daily geography games, made in Argentina.

GeoCake is a site of short geography games: flags, countries, rankings and facts about the world. Every game has a new challenge each day, the same for everyone, so you can compare your result with friends.

The games

• CakeFlag: guess the country from the color proportions of its flag.
• CakeGrid: fill a 3x3 grid with countries that match two clues.
• Top 10: name the 10 countries in a ranking.
• GeoFacts: guess the country with 6 clues, from hardest to easiest.
• Higher or Lower: does this country have more or less than the other one?

The daily challenge changes at midnight your local time. We add a new game every month. GeoCake is also available in Spanish: pick your language at the top right.

Where the data comes from

All the data comes from public, verifiable sources such as the World Bank, the CIA World Factbook and Wikidata. Nothing is made up. If you spot a mistake, let us know. Details in Sources and credits.

Who makes it

GeoCake is an independent project by Tomás Piola, a geography fan. It isn’t affiliated with any government, organization or company.

Your privacy

You don’t need an account to play. Your stats and streaks are stored in your own browser. More details in the Privacy Policy.
